Help Bluetooth Media checkbox erratic behavior

jesta192

Newbie
Has anyone else noticed that the Media checkbox under a Bluetooth device's (which supports A2DP) settings doesn't work properly? The phone ignores the checkbox when you connect your device, and tapping the Media item (ignoring the checkbox and what it says underneath) causes the the A2DP to disable (and toggles the checkbox). After this, I believe tapping again re-enables the A2DP setting (and also toggles the checkbox). The checkbox does not indicate the status of the Media (A2DP) connection.

I have seen references to this bug in Android as far back as 2010, but it seems very few people have noticed it. What do you all think?

There's a similar thing with WiFi. Sometimes you can check WiFi, but it won't actually connect to any WiFi until you open the options box underneath it. Yet another reason I let someone else use my Strat and went back to my X2. The keyboard and 4G don't make up for the issues it has, in my opinion anyway.

To be honest, I have had very few real issues with the Stratosphere. Compared to the Droid (and as much as I loved the Droid), it really does seem like the software is more mature and stable. Granted the Strat's hardware was obsolete before it came out, but it still meets my needs for the most part.

I would like to resolve this problem though.
