I didn't post here much, so I felt like an outsider looking in, but I used to come here quite a bit to see what was being said in the most popular thread in all of the forums. I didn't read every post when I visited and I haven't read all the posts in this thread, so I might be off base, but I don't get it. Where do the rules say you have to stay on topic? Why can't you chitchat and have a good time? I don't understand either why they would erase some of the posts. What's that all about? If you're the one that started the thread, shouldn't it be your thread?
It doesn't seem right to me and I can't see where anyone was hurting anyone. Everyone was having a good time and it was your thread, so what does it matter whether you uttered the work Incredible each time or not? Like I said, I'm an outsider, so it doesn't affect me that much, but the idea that this could happen ticks me off. I feel like my rights have been stripped away and it isn't a good feeling.
I felt different about it when it was the Bravo threads and there was a lot of fighting and arguing going on, especially with Newsradio, but that wasn't the case here. Not that I saw. My point is that it's hard to stay on topic 100% of the time and new news is far in between, so what difference does it make as long as everyone is having a good time.
I apologize for being so worked up about this. I'll probably be frowned on by the mods too, but if they ban me out for voicing my opinion - so be it.
