RadioShack removed HTC EVO V from pre order

Yeah, it's been gone since early this morning. Must have filled their quota I guess. My receipt says that it will ship BY the 31st so who knows. Might come out a little early. ;)
 
Ugh. I really hope I don't regret not pre ordering one. I didn't think they would run out or fill a quota. That sucks.

I don't plan to get one until June as I want to see reviews of the phone itself. I already saw some of the sprint version as well as checked out their roms. I also need to sell my current phone first

Well gosh darn it they went and printed virgin mobile on the Elite and screwed it all up.. Hehe

On the Evo the stats have been all over the place on sd size, mem size etc..
It will not surprise me when things are less than the og 3d that can be made less..
 
my local radioshack confirmed to me that they will have a few EVO Vs in stock by thursday morning. they didnt have any pre orders, but they are receiving some for sale.

funny, this day last week, i went in and asked about it and they had no clue what i was talking about.

Yeah, my told me the same thing. They just said to call in at noon and they would hold me back one. Thursday can't come any faster...

I had gone to ask them about a week ago too. Only phone they were talking about was the LTE Evo for Sprint.
I'm hoping they'll have my pre-order there by Thursday.

Do they have to hold the phones for the people who pre-ordered? I opted into site to store.
 
Just for the heck of it, I went in to a different Radio Shack at my local mall today. I asked them about it just to see what they would say and the manager had no idea it existed. He said that he couldn't even find in it the computer (oddly enough the guy at the other store could, go figure). It wasn't until an employee of his mentioned that they had some tags for it in the back... so yeah, Thursday seems like it's for certain at this point.
 
Not sure what the deal is with the pre-orders... my order says will ship when released. When you call the 1-800 status line, it just says Backordered. I talked to a CSR, he said the only info in his system mentions shipping from Radio Shack warehouse on June 13? WTF, is that about? I called my local 3 stores and they have no solid date, they said probably in a couple of weeks.

Wish someone had a true answer.

Would love for my ship-to-store to be in on the 31st, but I have this feeling that it won't now.
