He had the N1 for testing purposes also. Said 5 to 6 days after it was turned in, it was officially announced, and released. He was later given the final version to keep, but is more impressed with the speed of this device. All good news.

This is just a thought, but if anyone wants to give it a shot I'm all for it (I'm at work so I really can't call VZW).

I'd like to either call them or get an online chat started with a CSR and tell them that I'm very interested in their BOGO Droid deal, but I'm not ready to make the switch yet. See if they'll give up a date that the BOGO will be ending, because I can't see that being any good for them once they start to release advertisements and solid facts on the Incredible.

Like I said, if I can't get them on a live chat I might call them tonight. Seems like it's worth a shot to see if it lines up with our other dates.

Speaking of...Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone...i think we can call today a success! Side note: Being that it's St. Patty's and today we're all Irish, i won't be around for post updates and such...i'll give you three guesses what type of establishment i'll be in!

ok so this is back open? what happened to the other thread... have i missed and news on the incredible since page 14 of the unofficial thread... im so confused

Hmm I thought I heard it ending on the 18th but can't remember where I saw that.
 
Anybody tested the testman.verizonwireless.com site? I just checked it and the landing page is all jacked up. Could be just my experience or could they be changing the layout to include incredible marketing material? I think it had "Droid" crap all over it yesterday.

Anyone else think it would be abos-freaking-lutely silly for Verizon to allow Sprint to come out with this 4G device and NOT release details on the Incredible?

There is no way the Incredible doesn't drop before the Supersonic. No way.

Well except for the fact it is Verizon and they do stupid silly things like that, but still. If Sprint is making CTIA the stage for their flagship, I think it is safe to assume the same for Verizon.

Hmm, that certainly makes things interesting. I really wish VZW Wireless' site had the online chat feature available at all times. I would much rather do that than call them.
 
Well I just talked to a rep at my local verizon store and asked if they had any new smartphones similar to the droid or droid eris coming out soon. He said he didn't know of any. I mentioned the Nexus One, told him all about it. He went back to check with a higher-up, they told him 2 weeks and they'll have the Nexus One.

Now, obviously, this means he was most likely talking about the Incredible, since the N1 won't be sold in stores. I really really hope this 2 weeks deals with the Incredible.

This is me first post here. I've been watching this thread for the past week in hopes of new progress, and I'm finally glad to say I'm a member of these forums. You guys have been awesome at digging up some information about what's going on!

My sister works for VZW in Texas as a regional sales director, but she either A) has no idea about anything that happens via phones and only relates to sales or B) plays dumb with me whenever I ask her things due to a NDA. I'm not sure, but every time I ask her about something new such as the Incredible, she says, "I don't know. You probably know more than me." Haha.

I'll try and see if I can dig up any dirt as well!
