This Phone Is Going to Last for a Lifetime

True and with this great community of great group of guys here it only gets better I have no plans of getting another phone at least until metro releases a high end phone so I will keep my esteem for at least 6 more months
 
I agree, I can't see getting another phone anytime soon, they'd have to come out with the galaxy note or something of that caliber to get me to buy another phone.
 
Agreed. This is the best phone I've had yet from metro. Even though my Optimus M was good as well. Just small ;) Battery life is great now, mine looks just like ICS in almost every aspect lol I can't see myself spending another $300 for awhile. Plus I'm streaming like crazy now that I've got tether going!

If anyone from metro pcs is reading his post. he's just joking around, there's no way to get around your blocking of tethering, nope not at all one nope never
 
oh yess very true. build quality is the last of an old generation that we wont see anymore. just the battery terminals alone are amazing let alone the body and materials used overall and a standalone hdmi port as well as a notification led. thats why i didnt sell it even after getting a connect.
 
the only thing ill do is buy a used connect and another esteem, so i can find a way to swap internals, the best phone i have owned, the thing is better then my freaking laptop!!!
 
This memorial weekend I went to Austin, TX for family travel.

For some reason my Tomtom GPS refused to get GPS signal and start to stay idle, so I used my Esteem during the entire travel.

Heck, Esteem worked much better with built-in Google satelite view and traffic view.

I will still carry Tomtom for family trip but it will be my back up GPS. Sorry Tomtom you lost spot to Esteem.

i agree i probably wont get a new phone for another 2 years at least. i want to stretch this sucker out for as long as possible. i love it really

well that's because its a metro phone, the big developers don't take metro pcs serious. That has nothing to do with the phone its self, that's limited portions of developers, The Developers we have, have done a great job for us, and work really hard to bring us ROM's, and things.
 
I had this phone since December. Needless to say I love it. I am planning on keeping it for at least 2 years. Had to buy an extended battery though. The original one was complete garbage.
 
What more can you want from a phone lol. Honestly if this phone can't handle what yall are trying to do than y'all are spending too much time on it instead of spending it on life. I multitask a lot, and the esteem satisfies my needs. Yet again I did come from the Samsung intercept lol
 
i love the esteem but im still looking to upgrade the minute metro comes out with something better... and by better i dont mean the connect. i mean something like a 5" screen with duel or quad core and 2gigs of ram or something like that. it has to be BETTER then the esteem or ill just keep the esteem. hopefully next febuary when i have the money to upgrade because of taxes thell have something better.

Yeah more than likely there will be something similar to what you want I'm also waiting for a dual core don't mind 4.3 but I want a dual core with more ram
