Foreseeable issue w/dust&grim with no dust plug for the 3.5mm jack

Im kind of surprised that Samsung didnt kick in a some type of plug for the headphone/3.5mm jack.

Even with plugs with all my previous phones, some how dust and sometimes grim some how creeped into that hole
I do foresee an issue with this.

I since then bought a few(I know I will loose 1 or 2) via Ebay for basically nothing.
Im also surprised Radio Shack didnt have anything like this plug on hand.

i think it would be wise to them to make a usb plug too, people who have dirty jobs would really appreciate it to avoid hassle of fixing their own phone:mad:

i'm with the people who wouldn't even think anything of it... a couple of my other phones had the option to cover those but i didnt really see the point.

I hear ya; completely but, when I tried to use my headphones I got some major static distortion and that did not sound well in my ears.

Do what you will but, with all my phones (since 1996) I had always had lint or dirt finding it way into the headphone jack and speaker ports.

Ahh, crap. I didnt see that one. However, since I use the USB port daily, I think I should be ok regarding dust/grim but, who knows.

I swap out my battery during the day cause of work environment doesn't have a place to plug in and inside the building it switches to roaming which tends to drain my battery. The only thing is I am afraid the usb plug will fall out, it doesn't seem to be very snug. But for the cost I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
