Help Auto-rotate

Has anyone noticed a bug with auto rotate? When I turn it off in the settings menu the screen orientation is upside down. But it won't rotate to that angle when auto rotate is on...

Played with the girlfriend's Evo V yesterday as she just went into a Radioshack and lucked out they had one. With the auto rotate enabled I turned the device every which way while in the web browser the screen never went upside down when I returned to the home screen as well as when the auto rotate feature was disabled. Couldn't find any bugs with the device feels very solid in the hand compared to the Triumph, its a tad heavier than the Triumph when the battery is installed. Very fast and snappy, screen is very crisp and clear you can tell the difference with the Evo V and Triumph beside each other. This was the Sprint branded phone btw.

I have not seen any strange activity in this regard, either. I guess this is probably standard, but new to me, that the stock launcher home screen and app drawer are always locked vertical, regardless of screen rotation setting.

I wonder if a G-sensor re-calibration might remedy the OP's issue.

Menu > Settings > Display > G-Sensor Calibration

Found the solution, instead of turning rotate off through settings:display, do it through settings:accessibility.
