I am looking for a compact, high capacity external battery/charger for the Galaxy Note (International version). I travel worldwide often. What are the top three external batteries for the Note? Ian mentioned about the Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation Pro USB power pact. It is nice but maybe a bit heavy. What is the weight of the battery anyway? Is there other battery that is lighter but also provide high capacity? For example, if there is a reliable battery that weights 50% less but when carrying both of them can provide a total of more than 6000mAh, that might be desirable. I can choose to carry 1 or 2 packs at will. Being small and capable of connecting directly to the Note without a cable may be desirable. Thanks.

I use a JustMobile Gum Plus. It's not massive but still packs 4,400mah. Had mine for over a year, it's a good (if expensive) piece of kit. Obviously it requires a wire though.

Why not just buy a second battery and an external charger so you can charge the battery separately?

By using a USB power pack you can power other devices. A single power pack has several times the capacity of the Note's own battery. Also, if you use a protective case it's more practical. My Note's case is quite difficult to remove and would be a pain to
get access to the internal battery.

Thanks. So, the net weight of this battery is 218g. Can we remove the rubber jacket?
Anybody knows the net weight of the mophie juice pack powerstation - smart phones & tablets? I am considering to buy:
a) one PRO version
b) one non-pro version
c) two non-pro version if I find that 1 ext battery is not enough few months
later.
I asked mophie twice such simple questions. The customer service people was not helpful.
