[Verizon] Bluetooth problem... possibly from new radios?

Jeffery

I upgraded my wife's Galaxy Nexus to the latest radios and since then she has been having trouble using Bluetooth with our vehicle.

The phone pairs and connects, but as soon as a song starts playing it disconnects and the same thing happens with voice calls.

Could it be the new radio (and if so is there a way to revert) or could it be something entirely different causing this?

did you also flash the new build imm76k?

You probably should. The new entire build seems to be working best for most. Not just the new radios. I do know the update contained bluetooth and nfc drivers/updates. I'm not sure though if that would be contained in the "radios" that we flash separately or in the rest of the build. I want to say that the radios you flash are purely only the radios and no bluetooth drivers.

No, I'll try that!

EDIT: Is this the file I need to flash? >>> 4.0.4_IMM76K_radios_btldr.zip

I've had horrible bt phone audio quality since using the new 4.0.4 radios. Anyone else hear of this by chance? I would have to have to roll back to 4.0.2 radios.

guys unless i'm mistaken the bluetooth is totally separate from the 4.0.4 radios you flashed. Those are only radios for the cellular portion.

if you're having problems since flashing the 4.0.4 radios it could be an integration issue if you're not on the matching system build.

that is only the radios and bootloader.

There is a pre rooted imm76k build. Is that what you are looking for?

Yes, I guess so.

EDIT: I downloaded/installed the full zip from P3Droid and all is well.

Also, I haven't installed a custom ROM yet, but I am wondering if I should just leave my wife's phone stock/rooted.

The only thing she would care about is battery life from a ROM/kernel and I have the purchased version of Titanium.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Thank you everyone for your input :)

It does seem to follow the radios. I flashed the 4.0.2 ones back and my BT sound quality improved greatly.
