Its looking like I'm going to have to remove this ROM for now too. I got off with a warning just now after getting pulled over because I was holding my phone up on speaker instead of using my bluetooth. I'm lucky I didn't have it up to my ear but it was my kid calling and I had to take it. Cops NEVER let off the hook here in Cali.
I sure hope Shin gets the time soon to put out his non-oc version of this ROM and/or gets these bugs fixed. I've been grateful for this ROM but can't chance it anymore. Sucks. I'll keep my fingers crossed for any and all updates :thumbup:

Yeah, I am in the same boat. A ROM with no Bluetooth makes it impossible for me to drive and talk. I love Shin's ROM, but no Bluetooth makes it a no go.
 
I flashed your awesome rom for my sister in law. She asked if I could get the original camera app back, and the clock up top in the status bar as I think it probably was on the stock rom. Is there a way to do this?

Flash the nove theme and you will get the clock back, sorry I can'.t help you with the camera.

You can also use the rapture-shin theme it has the.clock up top and battery icon with numbers as for original camera just google it or i can send it to you

I absolutely googled it before bothering anyone, I try not to be the ask first kind of guy.

I would VERY much appreciate if you could send it to me. My sister explained to me that the stock camera app had a contrast slider that she liked very much. I don't remember ever seeing that on a camera app but I don't pay very close attention to those kinds of things.

As far as using themes to get the clock back it's a very good idea, I'll check them out. Has anyone ever seen a mod that just adds the clock without theme change?

I havnt seen anything at all ill locate the camera.apk in my files i have everything backedup so its on.my sd somewhere
 
Am I the only one whose having an issue with my bars dropping to no connection frequently? I have to press airport mode on and off to fix this, but it is very annoying. Anyone know how to fix this?

What base are you on B08 or B08C. I don't have that issue on B08 unless I have WiFi on, My wife on the other hand is on B08C and hers drops signal all the time regardless of what is turned on or off.

Hey Shin, I have a ?? I'm not prying just wondering:confused:, i didn't understand are we still waiting on a non OC or do we have to PM you for it. I'm just not sure if i missed anything or not. Great rom btw. WE LOVE IT, Greatest thing to ever happen to the warp. Running stable at 1.7 on demand with decent battery.:D

Yea mine to i got a app that restores the service Called Restart Connection
 
They are in systemUI. I used ninjamorph that made it a lot easier. But rename the new ones just like they are in the systemUI.
 
After a fight to get the drivers to install i finally managed to get CWM working and this beautiful rom installed. Been running it since last night at full throttle and stable! I'm going to borrow a BT device to help test future releases. I have noticed however that plugging in a set of earbuds to the head phone jack stops the mic in a phone call. I fixed the GPS/WiFi issue with Rom Manager as stated earlier in this thread as well. If anyone still needs help, message me and i will try to help you over YIM or Skype. Donated a few bucks to this great cause! Enjoy some beers on me and looking forward to future releases!

I've always been told to stay away from ROM manager with this ROM. This thread is all over the place with info LOL I'm happy ya got rm to work! I don't have the cojones to jack with it

In ROM manager you can fix permissions like in CWM. I think he may have been referring to that.
 
ive fixed the cam ics. that shin has on the Rom. just update to newer version. and it will work perfectly even panorama works. been loving it.

but I'm starting to have problems with my speaker I cleard dspm. and volume + but it sounds muffled and its not even close to bein really loud
 
Mine becomes muffled when I have my bass set too high... I leave it at around 6 or 7

I think shin should do what i did in unitology get rid of the need for volume+ manually adding a line to the build prop will increase your in call volume
 
I only downloaded Rom Manager to use it to "fix permissions"* That was all I needed to get Wi-Fi and gps working after the initial install

The update will be in the form of a flashable zip, and will be posted in the OP once i have released it.
 
OK I really like the rom but I am running bo8c and when running the beta or the running regular shin rom my service bars will go to 1 bar and then disconnect me from the mobile network I have the restart my phone to reconnect to the network everything else seems to work I'm running, he windows from until I c?an figure this out thanks
