Help Clear/Remove Items from the "Recent" list on HTC EVO Design 4G

When I hold down the Home key for a few seconds, a screen opens, overlays whatever is on the screen, and shows icons of the most recently used apps and utilities. Is there a way to clear this list, to remove specific items from the list, or disable the "Recent" function altogether? The menu button doesnt work on this screen, so there is no option to clear or delete from the list.

The only possible thing you could do is to "kill / clear" the list, and more apps will eventually return on the list once you use any application. This was how the device was made to function - for faster, easier access to your most recent apps.

Thread moved. :)

Yes swipe them to the left or right each one or whichever you don't want there after clearing them all do it a second time then they'll be all gone.
