Help Question about MetroPCS family plan.

At the moment, me and the family have this 4 for $100 plan, unlimited text talk and web etc., where we all have these shitty blackberry knockoffs.

I was looking on craigslist and found some used MetroPCS Samsung Admire phones for sale but don't know if it's possible to switch over the phones without changing the plan. I realize that I wouldn't be able to use the 3G or whatever, and I don't really care.

Also, if it's possible, can I do it myself and not have to go to the Metro store? Are there guides available for stuff like this?

Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions fellas, I appreciate the help.

It's okay it's not a dumb question, and you can't not change the plan because the Samsung Admire is an Android phone and requires the $50 plan, but as for the family plan, Since its 4 for $100, it's an extra $15 on the plan for each Android phone you add to the family plan, so if you were to add 1 Android phone to the family plan that you have, it would be $115

I know im kinda late on this but right now Metro has a promotion where you can add lines to make a Family plan and with each line added they take away $10 to plan cost.

I have the Samsung Admire and I have been a MetroPCS customer for quite a while!! Yes, You can buy the phone from Craigslist and everything will work out fine. If you're going to do so, you have to make sure the phone is not reported stolen or through an insurance claim, if so you cant use the phone! If you strongly plan on buying the phone and you have a trusting seller, press *228 to activate the phone! As far as your bill is concerned, you are in the Grandfather effect so changing the phone over shouldn't affect your bill.

I hope I was able to Help!!
