Bill I sent you a PM but it doesn't show up in my sent box so I don't know if you actually got it

Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

Don't worry. I'm pretty certain we'll have some official information within the next few days anyway. In the meantime, I really appreciate your input.
In the specs that I posted yesterday at the top of this thread, does anything stand out as blatantly wrong?
Video: MPG4 720p Recording (I can't confirm this, but I would suspect at least 720p is true given another aspect of the phone).
OS: Android 2.1 initially, then updated to Android 3.0 (Nothing was there about 3.0, but 2.1 is correct)
It's missing a few minor things, but other than that solid stuff.
Maybe it isThanks, Ouhei. I know the 1GHz Snapdragon chip is capable of 720p, but when I visited the Qualcomm website, it looked like the 1.5GHz dual core chip is required for 1080p. It's highly unlikely that we'll see any phone using that chip until the end of the year - at least. At this point, I would bet that it will be well into next year before we see a phone or slate with that chip.
Edit: You don't think it will have HDMI for outputting 720p video, do you?
Maybe that's what's blocked out in this picture of the phone on the right?

OLED I believe, what I've seen didn't specify storage.@ouhei,
AMOLED or OLED?
How much on board storage?
I only guessed front camera because HTC used to put them on a lot of their Euro PPC phones but we never got them in the states as the networks couldn't really handle the traffic. Also I keep reading about how there are going to be a few "4G widgets" to take advantage of new features. Honestly video calling is the only thing I can think of that would take advantage of that. Too bad I don't know anyone who is getting one besides myself

I am you could talk to me and everybody else on this forum.![]()
on this note, (lol i can totally understand your point of view and i totally agree with billmeds' response, but just want to add, that I do not want a repeat of what happened in another forum where the thread got out of hand with a member posting information that got the rest all riled up for no reason only to bail out at the last minute. It resulted in deleting countless posts. it won't help the members and certainly will clutter up the thread with un-needed posting. Hopefully that won't be the case here.front facing camera...
and btw, if you turn out to be "newsradio862"s "new" profile ill hunt you down and kill you, just a fare warning.. if not welcome friend![]()
Something tells me having a hdmi or mini-hdmi port on the phone would probably help it hook it up to a tv/monitor like a projector. But maybe thats me wishful thinking.I don't see the benefit of HDMI out on a phone, can some one enlighten me?

I thought maybe streaming movies to your TV from online, but there are much better options like a networked media tank, HTPC, or DVR. Then what if you need to take a phone call or answer a text? Get up and go look at your phone?
Then I thought maybe just to quickly look at your 720p videos w/ family. But it'd be much more streamlined to upload to youtube and then share. Plus you would think Google would want to incorporate a streamlined youtube upload since they own youtube of course and youtube does HD video.
Can't think of anything else.
Welcome to the Supersonic forum, senormatt and thank you for your input. When I was thinking HDMI, I was thinking of something different than YouTube. I'd love to be able to plug the phone into my DVD recorder through the HDMI port to record the movie on disk.
I don't think Google or HTC have any interest in anything having to do with physical media. Everything in the "cloud" is the idea.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Not sure why the Supersonic has so many less fans than the Incredible. Is it something with Verizon vs. Sprint users? The biggest Incredible thread has 9,400 replies to the Supersonic's 131.
Need some Supersonic love in here... man can't wait to see how everything plays out next week.
