Sprint S3 supports only up to a 32gb MicroSD? True or false?

Okay so Sprint says their S3 only supports up to a 32gb MicroSD card... Is this accurate? I thought all versions regardless of carrier/country supported up to a 64gb MicroSD card.

Please see the links of the big three US carriers for their advertised memory capacity on their websites going in order of Sprint, AT&T and followed by Verizon.

It'll work. They work in every Android device they've ever been put into, albeit requiring re-formatting to Fat32 and therefore having a file size limitation of 4GB.

That error was spotted in documentation for the international version too, which definitely does support 64gb cards. I'd be surprised if they changed it..

Just got off the phone with Sprint tech support they told me it would support up to 64gb micro SD card

Thanks Hunter... It was too late in the evening when I spotted that so I couldn't call them to verify.

I appreciate the follow up.

Now to just make it to release date to figure out when more 32gb internal units will be available.

Yep. Sprint went back in time, uninvented 64GB cards. This created the alternative dimension quoted in the OP. Thankfully, Android forums is transdimensional :)
