Newcomer hoping to make the Incredible my first smartphone. This thread is pretty awesome for all the detective work and I was checking it so often I decided to join and say thanks. And also, in case anyone is still interested I have 3 invites for google voice.

Been lurking for many months now. Waiting to get rid of my Dare. I've been bugging my cousin who is a Verizon customer service rep but she keep stelling me she has not heard anything. She just follows this forum now.

Right now, VerizonFIOS is the only TV provider that has EpixHD which can also be streamed online. Epix also said they will have movie streaming for mobiles in the future(this year).. Hrm... Nevermind it's got nothing really to do with Verzion, lol.

Anyway, hopefully the Incredible can control my Fios like the Moto. Droid can.

I'm starting to think that this may be THE MOST important launch for Verizon do date for a phone and that there is some piece to this we're missing. Not only are they releasing an AMAZING phone (if the specs hold up), but there may be something we're missing. Perhaps something like a Skype integration we're not picking up on, Live TV, ability to install apps to SD card or the expanded ROM, some other service they haven't launched yet...i don't know, just thinking out loud. We haven't heard a peep out of Verizon, but we know for a fact (unless EVERYTHING we have is a lie) it's coming to Verizon...it just tells me this is going to be huge and they keeping a very very tight lid on it.

Maybe the first phone to support the NFL streaming that they just signed a deal for. They did say the first thing coming from that was coverage of the NFL draft and that starts on April 22nd. Hmmm....
 
I think I may try to lower my stress levels waiting for this phone by going back to monitoring the 'HTC Passion' forum for a few days. It's a lot more quiet over there. :D
