Help with flashing a new rom

I upgraded to ics resurrection rom lately it's good but too many app crashes so is there a better ics rom for galaxy s2 or should I downgrade to gingerbread and please give me a tutorial because I don't know how to flash a new rom or OS
Note : I want stock roms (especially if gingerbread)

I've moved your thread to the "root" section for your device. Hopefully someone will chime in to assist you. ;)

I was on official gingerbread 2.3.5

You went from Gingerbread to an ICS custom ROM without first flashing a stock ICS ROM as a base. See my own experience of doing this, here and why it is not a good idea.

You should therefore flash a stock ICS ROM before attempting to flash a custom ICS ROM. For details, instructions and downloads for a stock ICS ROM, see Rozel's post, here.

So, your answer to my question, "What ROM were you on prior to Resurrection?" is not, "gingerbread 2.3.5".

If you cannot be sure then you will still need to flash a stock ICS ROM before moving on.

As for going back to Gingerbread from ICS, this is not just a simple matter always of just flashing a Gingerbread ROM and can be fraught with problems.

the tutorial link u gave me is pretty good i wish to upgrade to stock ICS can i just follow that tutorial

I assume you can still get into CWM recovery? and also I assume you can get into download mode (VOL-DOWN+HOME+POWER)

first thing to try is to boot up into CWM recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache.
if that makes no difference you need to remember what version of firmware you flashed (Eg. LPD, LPG Etc) then flash the corresponding cf-root kernel from here through Odin
If that still fails, then you will need to firmware flash from here via Odin

Flashing cf-root kernel and firmware is the same procedure, so use the instructions in the 2nd link as a base to follow.

it succeeded but i got 1 last problem when i try to flash a zip file from recovery mode it says "failed to mount SDcard",can you help em with that, please ?
and,can i use odin to flash files instead of recovery mode since it doesn't work
i need to flash a root zip file and a touchwiz UX(launcher) zip file :D

what do you see within "my files"
does it open /sdcard ok, and when you're in there, can you open external_sd?
do you have an external sd card? if not, when you flash, you may be selecting the default (external) and do not have an external sd card so you need to chose the "internal" option in CWM

i don't see an external_sd folder what should i do now,do i have to flash a new rom ?

so do you think you have an external sd card or not?

If you do not, then in CWM recovery choose the install zip from internal option instead of the default (which installs from external sd card) then navigate to your zip and flash.

If you still dont get any joy, perhaps its the kernel you flashed. Which kernel did you flash?
It may be worth trying Siyah.

And what "root zip" file are you trying to flash? Rooting is done through Odin and not CWM

And mate, you dont need to PM me every time you answer to a suggestion. Keep it to the thread please. It may help others in the future.
I will answer as soon as I can if I can. PM-ing me each time will not make me answer any quicker.
;)

Kernel : 3.0.15-I9100xwlpg-cl619441
dpi@DELL150#3

So, to repeat my question, do you have an external sd card fitted or not?

And is that the kernel you have or the one you want to flash?
