Facebook problem on Ray

Hi, my girlfriend has a Ray and recently for some reason her Facebook app doesn't work, it loads ok but she is unable to update her status, sometimes the option doesn't even appear on the app. Even the mobile Facebook site doesn't function properly. I've tried uninstalling the latest Facebook update, even uninstalled the whole app and nothing has worked. Did a full factory reset last night and that hasn't even worked.
She can browse Facebook just can't update, tried using the xperia ray Facebook integration option to bit when you click to activate it the Page it tries bringing up just hangs too. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have the exact same problem? It is not showing timline, but it looks like the old facebook app? Only there are no buttons for showing pictures and info on friends?? So it is rather useless as it is now?

@netfors - this is due to the version of the Facebook application installed. You would be best to keep any eye out on the Play Store for an update from them to alter this.

@mps83 - In this case you may have a more serious problem in which case I would advise running the update again and choosing the "Repair" option.
