Root [Boost Mobile] Help me to Re-Root please =[

Alright so I had been ignoring the auto update that boost sent out last week. I was rooted on B08 and didn't want to risk loosing it while updating but today it gave me a pop-up to install the update so I closed it and figured it wouldn't do anything unless i clicked it. Sadly i was wrong and when I heard the sound of my phone resetting it was all over lol I have tried woodstocks b08c update but couldn't even get CWM recovery to flash.

If anyone has installed this update and has a way to install root again or any ideas on how I could re-root my phone it would be greatly appreciated.

The link root recovery ultimate warp drive works great, I agree. Just make sure that when you plug your phone into your PC do NOT turn on USB storage. If you do then it won't work. If your phone sees the connection and the PC sees the phone then you have the correct drivers. Nobody every puts that disclaimer in when they make the rooters lol

If you have done the update you will need to go to system/etc and remove the contents of install-recovery.sh and cwm will stick thank shinru2004 for this info :)

Ya this update was a pain. thanks for the info anyway but I got it rooted finally last night after some tweaking. I guess i wasn't very clear but I had followed the instructions fine every ran as it should but still wasn't activating root. after deleting a few things and a mix of a couple of different things it worked fine.

No, and like appollo said if you are using a custom rom, well its cwm that doesn't let it go through, and it will be stored, if you want it later go to settings, about phone, updates,.
 
I have a nook color that was rooted then updated to 1.4.3
Can I just root it again or do I need to factory reset it then root it?

Yes, as long as the root is for that specific software version. You can probably find it at the Nook color forum, this one is for the ZTE Warp only.
