Root What Is the Best Rom

What is the most stable Rom? I would prefer it to be Very cool looking and not stock looking. I am currently running Rx1.1 Rom but the dial pad force closed and never came back, even after I reflashed the Rom. Thanks In advance for you all help!

Nandroid restore a previous version. If you do not have a nandroid backup available, you can try ripping the phone app out of an uninstalled version of the ROM and replacing the phone app in your installed version. I have never done this with the phone app and cannot guarantee it will work, not can I guarantee it won't screw something else up. However, I have done this with the native browser and messaging app on my OGDroid, granted that phone didn't have sense. This is risky to the point that you might have to start from scratch if it doesn't work.

Another option is to titanium BU your apps and safe system data. Then factory rest three times and wipe \system three times and flash the ROM again. Set the phone up, but don't sync with Google, only sign in. Download titanium and restore your market apps with data and system data. Please make sure you only restore safe system data such as messages, accounts, wifi and Bluetooth, etc. Basically the green items, but nothing that is settings related. Reboot and go...

Always make nandroid backups and keep at least two on your sd card, just in case...

Edit: There is one other very simple option. Download a third party dialer app.

As per your advice, and since I like CM quite a lot, I installed the Condemned CM7.2 you recommended. But from I can tell, it seems like this is still CM 7.1? Is that not right? The XDA thread says he resynced with the source on the day CM released CM 7.2, but I wonder if it is CM 7.2. The color scheme is still CM 7.1 and the look and feel still seems like 7.1 to me (for example the notification power widget does NOT look like the CM 7.2 notification power widget).

I admit, I do like this ROM, but I installed it after having CM 7.2 and finding it to be a bit unreliable (was getting freezes, and general sluggishness), and it seems like it was a step backwards.

Thoughts?
