Hello,

I've searchec the board and there is just fragmented posts on the subject so I'm gonna ask myself where do I get the latest sprint prls to try on my boost phone? I live in northwest indiana.

Thanks!

Nope. Sprint and Boost have different PRL's. From my understanding it's how the celll towers no wether you are a sprint subscriber or on a pre payed service. I thought there used to be a list of prls in this forum but I can't find it.

Slightly off topic, but my name is also Rick and I too live in Northwest Indiana, how cool is tha! Lol

LOL, small world my friend.. :D

Slightly off topic myself lol but i live in northcentral indiana but my name's not Rick.

I would like the sprint prl as well cuz my 3g is in and out and it seems as though i only get as much as 2Mb down at 1am to about 6am and it still fluctuates all the time... i have a decent signal strength of about -74db and full bars on the meter of course... im going to research this and find something out soon...

Judging from the fact that the basebands for the Sprint/Boost version of the TU are different, I support the idea that the PRLs are not compatible.

There used to be a list of sprint prl's that you could use on boost. I don't know if it was ever determined if it actually helps or if it just showed better signal strength due to seeing towers you really couldn't connect to. I just updated the baseband and have had good results with better service but I too want to try the prl to see if it does indeed make it better.

I'm using a Sprint PRL on Boost with no issues right now.

60681 or 60683 I do believe, and it's working ok. I've yet to go through the entirety of my available PRLs, but I've noticed a somewhat significant increase in data.

So i changed my prl to a bunch of different sprint prls but unfortunately since i am only 6 blocks from the tower i connect to at home it has no effect on me... same situation...
