Lets try the simple approach first-pull the battery-wait about 30 seconds(assuming the battery has a charge)-put the battery back in and try again.
Does the phone indicate charging when plugged in?

hi i have the same problem.. pullin out the battery n tryin to charge doesn indicate any charging

is there any help possible ??

Took battery out,put back in,no joy! No light on when charger plugged in!!
