***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

Does anyone know if there will be corporate email search? I tried the Droid a few months ago and it was pretty hard scrolling through all my emails to find spefic emails from more than a day old. Have not found anything on the internet yet, saying Googe fixed this, but maybe Sense helps? I don't really know how much Sense does, beyond making for a nice GUI.

Does anyone have any links as to where someone can obtain a list of "direct" stores vs "indirect" ones? I'd like to start hitting up the indirect stores today to see if they have MY phone in yet and what the best price will be? :)

I'm usually paranoid and put an InvisibleShield on my device to protect the screen and the Droid is the first phone I did not do that on. The screen did not have a single blemish on it after 2 months of use and it woud be nice if the Incredible had the same type of screen.

The N1 and Desire do not use the same gorilla glass and I'll bet they reuse the same glass since they share the same screen size, as opposed to the DROID. When I read about Motorola's industrial strength glass and how robust it is I got a bit envious, knowing that HTC doesn't use that kinda glass. No biggie, DROID is the only touch device to my knowledge that uses gorilla glass.
 
Just thought I'd play devil's advocate for the day since the anticipation and build-up seems to be reaching it's climatic peak...
Why is everyone resting so assured that this "Incredible" device will be announced at CITA? :rolleyes:
My many apologies to all of those (NKT, Stericson, Anonimac, etc) who have seemed to provide invaluable info so far. Please don't flame too hard.

That's a good question. I think between our anxious anticipation and the blogosphere regurgitating the same things (that they most likely gleaned from here), we are all desperate for some news.

For me, I really need a new phone but am not willing to compromise my specs for what VZW has to offer right now. This is a two year investment for me so I'm anxious as well.

Here is the list of opening compatible phones (remember incred would not be on it as its not announced):Initially, Skype mobile will be available on millions of best-selling Verizon Wireless 3G smartphones with data plans, including the BlackBerry

Right now CTIA is the biggest thing to announce a phone at and people are getting impatient and hence most think the incred must be announced at CTIA. It doesn't seem like Verizon is going to be making a big announcement about a phone unless they are just showing it off so even if HTC announces it you may not get a launch date.
