How soon will accessories likely be available?

My past 2 phones have had Clarivue screen protectors and they don't even list any and Steinheil/SGP says coming soon. I had an old one for my 3D that my friend said he could put on to hold me and make it fit good enough and I said I'll wait but maybe I should.

Someone posted a thread already with a broken screen from dropping on concrete... Don't rely on the GG too too much.... It can still happen

Anyone been to a sprint store lately? Do they have the black silicone cases yet? The blue one looks nice (as a case, not a color), so I am waiting on the black one so I can grab that and a dock.

No black one as of yet! The dock is there!;)

That's what I would like to know. The red logo on the black case goes perfectly with this phone.

Just received my Diztronic matte black tpu case from Amazon and its great! Just wanted to let y'all know.
This is another case I'm looking to get. Yeah, I'm going thin for the EVO this year.

This is true! I opted out of getting that case, I don't like how bulky cases make phones look! I did purchase a car dock, screen cover and a holster clip from Sprint corporate store!

I hear from a lot of people on this forum that have the defender that its actually quite thin..thinner than the commuter for the og..but i guess ill have to wait and see for myself... I have the car dock and zagg shield..and I actually purchased the blue gel case that all the sprint online people got for free ( pre ordered at the shack ) so I have protection for the time being via the gel case and zagg...but I miss having my phone on my hip..I hate putting it in my pocket collecting lint and such

I had posted this deal from justamazingdeals.com for ibeats beats audio headphones from htc. Some people on slickdeals thought the headphones might be fake, but from what I see and hear, these are legit. Only thing is, the buttons don't seem to work with my photon, except for voice command, but they put out some pretty good sound and are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever used. Maybe the buttons work exclusively for htc phones? Hopefully, somebody that got LTEvo also got these and can mention if the audio buttons actually work for controlling the music player.

jc,

couple of reviews on amazon say the power button cover has caused the power button to get pressed on its own. can you respond on how the case fits? do the holes (the mic hole in particular) align up well?

this looks like a great case for the money. i may place an order for one.

if you have a car dock, does this case fit in the dock?

many thanks for your response...

Mine fits perfectly. I didn't have the issue with the power button and all the cutouts are aligned well.

I read that those having the power button issue were getting a replacement free of charge.

I also have the car dock and it fits fine with the included foam pads.

I don't know anything about your headphones, but if it's of any help, I have not heard of ANY multifunction button support on any Android phone. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist.

The only thing any Android phone I've seen supports is the single button support -- no advance/backwards, volume, etc., this is only supported by the iPhone. You can download free apps to help give more functionality to the single button though:

Neo,

do you mean specific to wired headsets or across the board?

Thank you for the post! so you need foam inserts to attach to the car dock? are you able to snap a photo of the phone in the case and docked in the car dock so i can see what you mean? if its too much of a hassle do not worry...

You get mult-button support with Bluetooth headphones...

I'm not big on aesthetics or worried about what other's think of the look of my phone....however, I do like to keep things looking as nice and sharp as possible (even if it's just for eventual resale). I already have a couple of nice scratches on the glossy black back plastic cover. As I understand it, HTC had to use plastic for this portion to allow radio signals to pass through (as opposed to the aluminum bottom portion). I wonder if there will be HTC or 3rd party alternative replacements for this part??

I don't know how this will be in comparison to uniqueskins or skinit, but it's worth a shot:

Design Your Own HTC EVO 4G LTE Custom Skin - HTC EVO 4G LTE

Same concept of designing your own and doesn't add bulk to the phone, but does give your phone its own "unique" style by designing it yourself with whatever pic you want to use.
