I Know that people are probably not going to want to hear this, and I have been trying to post for about a week but something is F'ed up with phandroid password system.(so this is my first post under a new name) I recently started working at a verizon premium dealer and we have the power to go into their system and check inventory of all phone. To make a long story short, I didn't see the incredible in the inventory at all, nor cellbrite. I believe that it exist, but when is the big question. I am a phone and tech freak just like you guys but seriously, ( and I not trying to rain on anyone's parade) can you think of a single phone that has been kept this secret, a day or week before it's supposed launch.

Leaked specs, check
mysterious boxes at VZW stores, check
End of Life on old model, check


all we need is the release date?
 
If I had to guess it will be about stuff you really don't care about right now, like the skype deal and NFL mobile, also they may drop the nexus 1 (might as well everyone else has) also LTE, as it is supposed to be humming along by now.

i dont understand y ur character is under direct conflict noone else questions where or what other do for a living posting info they have recieved.... and no less someone who was posting stuff on twitter before they were invited to the forum, i for one appreciate any info u provide us. if they wanna keep judging you then dont give them any more info and just make sure u pm me what u find out lol :D

If i give you the news i've been told NOBODY on this forum would like me very much right now...and so the "vetting process" continues until i feel like it's worth the bits of data it'll be "printed" on. Until then, keep up the great thread *caugh* support group *caugh*...

Oh yeah. I was actually thinking of any new Android devices. Verizon's smart phone selection would be kind of blah compared to the other carrier's selections. I've been with Verizon for about 12 years now and I do appreciate their network, but I want an awsome phone to go with the awsome network!:D

Is that a cryptic way of saying the Incredible will not be mentioned tomorrow?
 
I'm starting to feel like this phone is a Nigerian 419 scam. It's just around the corner....it's almost here.....just a few more weeks.....almost here.... it's like there's no end to the game.

Umm....exactly! I wish I had something more positive to report, and also for all of you that have spoke with a rep or a manager at some VZW store trust me when I tell you (unless it's you close personal friend, you've know for 20 years) they don't know sh!t. I swear I just started working at this store and these people don't know anything they are asking me about phones coming, and that's how it happens now when someone walks in our store these guys are going to pretend like they heard or know something about this phone cause I enlightened them.

Well if it's that bad I'll be a Sprint customer soon and Verizon can stick their superior network up their superior backsides.

Last thing i'll say tonight (before putting myself so far in debt at the blackjack tables that i'll be considering "Indecent Proposal" with my gf and some rich bastard)...

I wouldn't get too used to some of the spec's being flung around over the last few pages.

On that note...i got an 8 and a 3 and the dealer is showing a 6...what do you do? decisions decisions...


A: Double down fool!

EDIT: To be clear, i'd continue considering the evergreen thread/post to be the authoritative spec and get some sleep...

to those of you that think the incredible wont be mentioned tomorrow i think your just being negative because why would the htc embargoed device be the supersonic? everyone already knows about it! I.E no need for the embargo... no official word on the incredible which would hint the need for the embargo :D

Come on now...don't leave me and all of these people hanging like that. Just tell us what you've heard so we'll have a good idea of what's going on. If you know something, just drop the bomb already. It's inevitable anyways.

Umm you can't be at a black jack table and be using your phone they will tell you to leave the table. I gurantee that. :D
