Root Well, lets get the ball rolling

They will look into it, which means see whats going on, then won't no if you have messed with your phone or have root
 
Yes, they provide you with an envelope that you can put your old phone in and return it, the envelope is paid for so all you have to do is drop it off
 
Every time I start the flash in LGNPST (from the upgrade tab) I get an error "Magic code not found. Invalid Binary file." about 30 seconds in and the flash will not proceed. Any help?

We do.
Doesn't mean we can't be ready ahead of time.

Unfortunately it may take a bit longer than I thought since I found out I will have to locate the exact mounting points into the updater script. I haven't looking into that yet. I'm in no rush seeing as we don't have a recovery yet, I'm kind of hoping someone else may take care of that.:p

We got close, but someone with the phone has to do it. Someone with recovery experience/ coding experience perhaps. Idk exactly but utkanos was unable even attempting whole heart-edly.

I'm wondering we should start it.. I have a paypal donate ready under my name but I wouldn't want the donations to start until AFTER we are sure that we have the cash =/.. already have a buck fifty in the pile lol..

Thanks everyone for all the hard work but I'm really close and stuck at the finish line, I was successful with flashing pushing yet no root access. I installed superuser and it says su binary not found and outdate binary notification is checked. Suggestions?

You may want to check the size of the su binary in /system/xbin/ and try the ADB commands again. When I pushed it over the first time, it seemed like a success, but su ended up being 0K (empty).
 
it's working but it says that my su binary is out of date. 3.0.3.2 and the new one is 3.1.1 when trying to copy su to /system it says fail.

FWIW.. Mine was as follows:
superuser app is v3.1.3 (46)
su binary v3.0.3.2 (15)
-rwsr-sr-x root root /system/xbin/su

I thought v3.0.3.2 was the latest su binary, but I did just update successfully to

superuser app is v3.1.3 (46)
su binary v3.1.1 (17)
-rwsr-sr-x root root /system/xbin/su

In your Superuser Preferences, what is Automatic response set to?

Automatic response was set to prompt now set to allow. still failing to update.
