I'd definitely be interested to see how it does. I would imagine we'll see PLENTY of devs working on this guy. Aside from the screen resolution and processor, it's quite similar to the Galaxy Nexus, so I can't imagine it's too hard to port from there.

It's supposed to be 100 degrees here today. Anything I do will be inside. :D

My plan is play Civilization V: Gods & Kings, watch some of the Wimbledon Men's final, and, of course, spend hours on this forum.
 
Morning all! I'm making a very rare post from work. :)
Just looking up some recipes to make a chilled white bean soup. We overcooked them yesterday so looking to save em. I can't imagine anyone wanting hot soup right now at the restaurant, so I'll do a roasted pepper (green and red, and maybe some chilis) and white bean puree. Should make a nice rich, but light chilled soup! :D

Before ordering my last phone I decided I would leave it stock for a while, in case there was a hardware problem and I had to return it.

Then I ended up rooting it the same day I got it :p

So I'll likely have a custom rom on there in no time at all...

Here I sit in the dark. Power knocked out by a storm. No A/C. No computer. No Nexus 7 tracking number. At least I have 4G and a Nook Color. If I have to get up in the morning with a cold shower and no coffee, I am gonna be one ill bastard.
 
Coming from a kindle fire this thing will rock! I can't wait to get my hands on the n7(does this remind anyone of mass effect 3 n7? Lol) anyways it is perfect...size, power,and functionality what else would ya want.
 
I'm getting one for the wife to replace her old B&W Kindle. Ironically, she won't be able to purchase and download Google content here in Cambodia so she'll be a heavy user of the Kindle app :eek: Does anyone know if Kindle has a large, beautiful home screen widget for tablets yet?

No tracking number for me either. I am kind of interested to see what future N7 owners do for a living.

Currently I go to school studying Mechanical Engineering, and intern at a company doing some Civil Engineering.
 
Current devices are a N1, GNex and TF101. :D

I studied Aero E, Sports Med and Martial Arts at uni.... so of course, I work in an art reference library in an art museum. :D (Which is great during our heatwave as the various collections must be kept at a set temperature at all times.)

And no shipping notification for me either. :( Hoping to get a late night ping tonight. Thinking if I don't see an email by this time in the morning, it probably isn't going to happen this week. I can't see them shipping something with two day shipping on Thursday and Wednesday could be cutting it too close.
 
The play store now reads, device ships in 1-2 weeks, so my hopes for it shipping this week have dwindled, but stranger things have happened.
 
Galaxy Nexus user here. I havent really been into the tablet craze but the Nexus 7 does have my intrest. You just can't beat that price.
