Ok ..I had an account on this evo v but stopped paying for the month ...
I want to start a new account with my evo v ...how can't I get that "activate" message again and fully delete my old number and clear all account info on this evo v..

Any ideas except trying to call VM...

Run the RUU. You can find a guide in the root section but you don't have to be rooted to use it.

You should probably create the account first online, then swap the phone to your new account wait like 5 minutes. Then dial ##CLEAR# on your phone which will clear your network information and it will automatically push your network info from your account to your new phone. If you then choose to do so you can factory reset by going to Settings > Storage > Factory Data Reset and then follow the prompts.

Factory Reset-
Turn the power off.
Hold the Volume Down button
Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
You then get a menu that has Factory Reset in it
Scroll down with the Volume Down button and choose Factory Reset and press the power button. It then takes you back to how your phone was when you first opened the box. Any personal info or apps will be wiped from the phone.
