Okay, so HTC could announce the phone. Maybe VZW is doing a last minute press release?

MY POINT is anything is possible today, good or bad. I am going to lean towards good. It makes me a happier person:cool: Everyone is acting crazy about this and it hasn't even started yet.

I thought there was a confirmation in this forum that it had gone through FCC approval...

EDIT: Would have posted a link, but can't get the darn search to find a match for fcc (although I just posted something about it!)

Except as I said previously HTC's announcement about that would be that a new phone would be revealed at CTIA, not that they would announce a new phone. The Supersonic being revealed by Sprint fits that description.
 
How nice must it be to be a member in the SuperSonic forum today knowing your dream phone is about to be unveiled? For as long as some of us have suffered through the many ups and downs since Nov. that really should be us. :mad:
 
Things I learned while skimming through last night's posts:

There is very little difference between boys and girls. We both get excited and gossip. They gossip about boys, and we gossip about telephones! :rolleyes:
 
Is Sprint also scheduled at CTIA for today or the week? Isn't it possible HTC will unleash the Incredible and then Sprint will unleash the SS?
 
Seems to me there is a gray area between revealed/announced.

I think everyone is reading into this a little much. Just wait and see what happens...

Would VZW have to have a formal announcment about a press release?

What's to say they don't just open up the booth and show off the phone with something from VZW corporate sent to media outlets? Then they use the phone at the skype announcment?

We're gonna have 3+ pages on "I don't think it will be announced, here's why." and "Oh it is going to be announced, here's why."

Wth? Can't we just sit back and wait and see? Then if it IS or ISN'T announced talk about why?

That's not necessarily true. I know some of us still aren't brainwashed with the Verizon network, network, network chant. I'll leave them in a heartbeat if they don't give me a phone I want to carry.
 
It's INCREDIBLY pointless to bicker about whether it WILL or WILL NOT be released. In fact its f**king dumb. :cool: That's all I'm saying on that until the day is over.

Would Verizon need to let press types know before hand that they were having a press conference? I suppose not, but it tends to help.
You may want to take your own advice. I just see the point in getting people's hope up.
 
i'm so sick of new posts linking to a 3 month old video of the damn phone and pictures that were leaked over a month ago.

These friggin twitter people and news sites should only report on new stuff, not old and busted information. ugh.

Yes, I still have hope as well, but it would be nice to know without a doubt that today is the day our baby arrives. While the Sprint fans wait with eager anticipation knowing their phone will be announced, we're all still sitting on pins and needles.

And I don't see the point of squashing everyone's hopes. :cool: Guess won't see eye to eye on that, but do we ever?:cool:
 
Lets hope everyone lol...I'm done with this forum for a few hours...work needs to be done...I'm going to keep track on CNBC, no one minds having a news site open lol...I'll be back after it's announce
