Okay , Although My Phone Is Fully Flashed To Boost Mobile Its Still Not Rooted , I Downloaded The "Root Checker" App And It Says My Phone Dont Have Root Access , Its Weird Because I Thought In Order To Flash A Phone It Have To Be Rooted , & I When Power Off My Phone & Go Into Recovery Mode This What I See From Top To Bottom:

Hmmm....I would've thought the same thing looking at the info there.
Do you have the superuser app?
Perhaps download a "root only" app and see if it works.

Did you boot into recovery and flash a rooted rom file or the su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip file?? if not then you only unlocked the boot loader but haven't yet rooted the phone.

btw you do not need your phone to be rooted to flash it to boost.
i may have found my problem though im not sure.. i can't seem to get the active profile to stay on 0 it keeps changing to 1 any idea's on how to get the settings to stick??
(i've tried writing it to the phone but when the phone reboots it sets the active profile to 1)
I have also tried manually setting the active profile in ##3282# edit mode and pressing commit changes but after the phone reboots the active profile is setback to 1 :/

That is normal actually.
Do you have working voice and txt? What about working web and data 3g?

nah, nothing is working and im not sure why.. check out the previous page (page 4) im not sure whats going on.
can't get it to hands free activate, can't get it to update profile or update prl. tried flashing a boost prl and sprint prl still nothing.

Can i use the info from the HTC to flash another replacement

I also have a Sprint Rant which I can use IF I cannot use the info from the HTC
IF I can use the info from the HTC then I will be willing to give the clear
esn info from the Rant to anyone that needs it

Yes you can extract the info from the evo, its actually very easy to do so just follow the guide for the incognito as the information to pull is all on the evo you have.

what is your donor phone?
when are you around I may be able to help if your schedule is ok.
You need to find out if you can get the HA and AAA keys from it for starters if so then yes you can.

I am actually just now learning how to do this and bought a guide, which came with software, WinHex, QXDM, QPST 2.7 And, CDMA Workshop 2.7.0 ( not sure if this is the correct because, in the guide they are using 3. something
Can i use the 2.7 version?

ok im at the service proggraming part and im stuck it reads from phone but wont let me go anywhere couse theres only 5 numbers in my feild service,,can i just change it to my spc,,or how do i get it to get all 6 numbers like its asken for i have a incognito as a donor

Hey Panic, just curious if you may have overlooked setting the active user to the correct one when you do the final steps in Service Programming? May want to double check that, after you write the nam files it will make the user which ever was active prior. You have to manually change it to what you want.

i have not been logged in for a while now! and i lost my list of scans!
anyway good for you zeroing ur evo!! it is pain!! but my last scan i got like 3 codes of each meid and esn! but they worked to get me zeroed!!
now you encountered the same problem that i had!
look when i wrote my new meid to my evo and copied the ha and aaa shared codes! nothing happened,i had no 3g no voice no nothing!!
i dont know what happened! i kept trying and trying over and over, i tried to make a phone call and it would get error 16!!! then i got transferred to a cr,
they helped me get the phone going!! which was good! but i still didnt have 3g!! so i tried to reprogram via qpst again then i entered for prof1 aaa shared secret password the entire code til the last # then made active 0 then rebooted! and 3g was enabled!! but no voice again!! but i tried to make a phone call again then i got redirected to ? i think is sprint cr they did again!! i finally have my evo working with 3g!!! hope this helps!!
also i dont know if anyone has gone trhough this same experience!!
