I specifically wrote "average" consumer for a reason, please realize this.

Anyone posting here is not an average consumer. We're considered "enthusiasts", amounting to probably 1% of the total sales of this or any phone.

Sorry to say they will know a difference if they are smart. The iphone is a closed environment, Windows 7 mobile is a closed environment. If you don't like playing in the little space Apple/MS provide you then too bad. I want an open phone not a closed little space. Whether it's this phone on verizon or if they put it off an N1 on ATT I'm not going to live is some corporate trap.

I know if 4g sprint came to San Diego, I'de be a sprint customer the day it happens.

I'm tired or Verizon playing the catch up games on phones. They have always been more focused on their network, which is great but leaving their package as a whole lacking.

We are not buying phones anymore, we are buying handheld devices with phone cababilites.

We need the whole package or I'm out of Verizon very soon.
 
Don't forget about that embargoed phone up for the award. IF it's the incredible, verizon may wait until the award is given out to announce.

The folks you want talking about your new phone are the "enthusiasts" :) Average folks aren't great at hyping products.
