That GalaxyS sure looks like an iPhone. Nothing matters with AT&T at the helm locking down the app market, not having the coverage and the phone being a Samsung. Their UI is horrible (see Samsung WinMo devices) and I am sure it won't change on this device.

Either way, Verizon will be losing customers waiting to renew, who were on other networks looking to make a move to VZW for Inc or wanting to upgrade to a smart device if they wait too long to announce something. It's as if they don't realize that tech people are not fond of waiting. Loving anticipation is not a trait tech people like because they want hands on now. Idiots.

Didn't the Palm pre plus have 3 week window between announce and release? If they announce today, 3 weeks would be the 13th. I'd consider the 10th to the 20th mid April.

wow that really does look like a iphone..looks like the incredible will have some good competition..but competition is always good..it makes verizon have to step their game up another notch

It makes me think that Incredible will have a 4.0 SUPER amoled if samsung can do it DON"T LET ME DOWN INCREDIBLE...

The only thing being heard at the show on day 3 will be crickets, everyone else will be gone or packing to leave.
Yep, having participated in many an industry trade show (hardware and hardgoods related) I can tell with certainty that the last day is always a bear to get through, as more often than not you stand in your booth twiddling your thumbs waiting for people to come in or even pass by. Heck, in our industry it's not uncommon to see sales people (myself included) in jeans as you're merely counting down the hours until your crates and boxes arrive from the exhibition company so you can begin the arduous chore of packing up.

The big trade show in our industry is the National Hardware Show, which is held each May at the Las Vegas Convention Center, ironically enough, so I'm very familiar with the facilities being used for CTIA. In the nearly 20 years I've been attending that show I can't think of very many if any new product annoncements made the second day, as ours is a three day event as well. Almost 100% of the time the big bombshells are announced on the first day and media events are usually planned around them, which leads me to believe that if the Incredible isn't announced during the Verizon/Skype event, it's not going to happen period. I could very well be wrong and there could be some type of separate event at their booth on the exhibition floor. The tech industry may be different that way, but I highly doubt it or else those in the media covering the show surely would have known about it in advance.

The windows mobile devices just use the windows ui which isn't good, not a special samsung thing so the GalaxyS has something completely different.

Apple sued the wrong company, because that looks identical to an iphone in outer appearance and the UI (from the pic).
