And just like that 3.1 in now out. So many fixes for something that I thought was supposed to be the official build?
Morning all! Hope everyone had a restful night of sleep. Some crazy stuff going on at work, can't discuss, and won't really affect me, but I just find myself shaking my head. Why do grown adults in a professional setting act like that is all I have to say...
But I should get to see the last 4 or so days not counting closing ceremony.Morning all! I'm trying to holding out for AOKP JellyBean but seeing all of you on JB already is making me itch!
Ditto. I am in a quandry, though. My daughter's Droid X is dying a slow, painful death, and I'm afraid that we're going to have to end up giving up unlimited on 3 of our lines to use the available upgrade we have and get a new phone. If we do that...do I get her the GNex? Or get myself the GSIII and give her my GNex and then trade with her if I don't like it (read "if they don't figure out a way through the encrypted bootloader issue")?

What is it with Motorola phones? My Droid didn't make it 18 months before it started going bonkers. My friend's Droid X had a similar usable life. His signal dropped significantly and battery was almost non-eixistant before he was elligible for an upgrade. He was burned so bad by it that he went and got an iPhone last week.
I agree - they definitely tried to push the fact that the Nexus Q was "hackable" at I/O. Can't wait to see what people come up with for the Q. Just wish the price point was a bit lower.Interesting read on the Nexus Q
Developer Pushes Launcher Through ADB to Nexus Q, Makes Device Actually Kind of Cool – Droid Life
Makes me wonder if Google is harvesting the free efforts of the developer community to see what could happen. You know, lets take a sphere with a whole bunch of electronics packed inside running barebones ICS Android and see what they make from it.
