The LTE announcements are also totally useless. They should have been announced to someone who will care like their shareholders. Just give us the phones we want and no one gets hurt.

Who here has a need for skype...

Not me...
Me!

I travel to Europe for work and use a BB global phone so I can be on Verizon here, and use the sim card there. If I move to the Incredible I'm screwed and will have no phone in Europe. With Skype, I have something more similar to a world phone, although it won't be quite the same.

It seems to me that at VERY least HTC still has one or two devices yet to announce (from the HTCPedia story HTC at CTIA 2010 Preparing Its Booth for the Show), and I would be very surprised if they were going to (a) put up a wall with a bunch of devices in these little windows, and (b) put signs in at least one of these windows saying "No Peeking! come back soon" without (c) announcing what goes in the boxes today. Whether they do it in this 2:30 PST (4:30 CST ;-)) meeting or not, I can't imagine they would NOT tell us what it is today.

How are you going to use Skype without having any connections? The way you could use the Incredible in Europe would be on wifi.

I don't need Skype either, I need a phone!! I'm still on an LG Dare and my NE2 came up on 3/10.

I was doing so well too and not reading any forums on possible upcoming phones. I blame all of you. :D

I think we have come to the conclusion that the "no peeking" will be unveiled at 2:30 Pacific (5:30 Eastern).

Anyone else think we're all going to get rick rolled when they pull back that cover?

Only if you find a wifi connection. My understanding it the phone is a paperweight outside the US even with Skype unless you can find the only connection that will work and that is the wifi receiver. Also I hear wifi is pretty pricey in Europe. Might just make sense to get a pay as you go phone while in Europe.

I'm so pissed of no announcement of the Incredible yet. I feel so deflated. I'm actually considering dropping my decade of Verizon, just to get a decent smart phone. This blows.

Probably for AT&T since they are getting a exclusive HTC device, or it could be for T-mobile.

Woodskram already posted that AT&T is getting the Desire and Sprint getting Hero 2. Verizon is officially in 4th with announced or available Android handsets IMO.
