I know we haven't heard about The Incredible yet. We're all now aware that the EVO=SS is going to be RELEASED in JUNE! They might have originally planned for an earlier release and are held back by the Patent Lawsuit brought on by Apple. So Let's see if we'll get our Incredible by April 1-17 as originally presumed, or if The supersonic=EVO is a hint at the lawsuit's delay.

God, this is kind of a downer even if us VZW faithfuls want the incredible. Knowing that the potential for this kind of technology is readily available over at HTC, yet our phone isn't even official yet kind of shows that something stronger will need to be in the works for VZW for HTC to keep a strong base across at least 3 of the big 4 carriers.

Now, back to the show.... CMON INCREDIBLE

@HTC just tweeted about the "no peeking" box.

The Supersonic to EVO name-switcheroo means we're likely not going to see Verizon's new phone called the Incredible. Something short, punchy, Droid-y?

Any guesses? HTC Droid... Io? Like the moon?

The Incredible better be pretty F'n incredible. I am getting impatient with Verizon right now. I hate Sprint but that is a very nice phone.

Well if Verizon has something covered up it would be a good sign. It isn't going to be revealed only in a little box - it would have a stage for it.

No way I would get the Sprint phone - as nice as it is it's still on Sprint's network.
The Evo was not at Sprint's booth covered up, it was announced through a keynote. Engadget refers to a auditorium for the revealing, so VZW would not have the phone at their booth just laying around covered. I'm saying the windows have the phone.. won't necessarily mean it will be announced that way.

At this point I'm still going to get either the Incredible on Verizon or the N1 on AT&T. Although I'd prefer the Incredible.

Is it just me or does the HTC EVO look like the incredible

!?!?

ok, i guess i'll say it, but seriously, am i the only person not sippin' the SS/Sprint kool-aid? I couldn't care less what Sprint announced or what the specs are for the SS...they're exactly what has been reported for months, no surprises.

The appeal of the incredible isn't that it's "better than the SS", it's that it's an AMAZING phone, with rediculous specs, AMOLED, FM, 8 GB ROM....yatta yatta...go read the evergreen spec...

Bottom line, i'm not excited for this phone because it's better than the SS, i'm excited because it's EXACTLY what i want from a phone.

Moto has the i1 HTC can have the iDroid

i have a bad feeling there is not going to be any news on the incredible at CTIA... everyone keeps hoping for something more. It's like at apple events when we all expect apple to announce something amazing, and they never do. We're all left with that feeling like ... "that's it?"

sorry dudes.

what is so bad about sprint? I was on AT&T for a long time and now I am on AT&T again (iphone), and Sprint reliability, call quality, and service blows AT&T out of the water. I was waiting for the incredible to get on VZW but the Evo might steer me towards sprint..

Great phone, but it's on the Sprint network, don't forget..

The fact that you have been on two subpar networks may be why you don't understand whats "so bad about Sprint"

What if HTC made two identical phones just one with parts to work on Sprint's Network and other with parts to work on Verizons? The original specs for the Incredible showed a TFT screen.
