Dropped my phone!!

Omg.. so I dropped my phone on concrete and somehow it managed to roll and scratch/chip all 4 corners! The phone is fine but I can't stand seeing the marks ..

Maybe I'm too anal about it but I'm actually thinking about doing an insurance claim to get a new one lol.

Anyone think I'm crazy ?

I would have thrown my body under it and then passed out. But if your using the stock battery put a case on it. Least to cover the scratches.

Try a hybrid case they are pretty cool I have this blue on one mine.

All the scratches on your phone give it character. Just keep it the way it is.

I don't think your crazy I like to see my phone nice and neat the way that I bought it, so I put the screen protector and a case.

Is just a matter if you want to pay the hundred dollars to claim or not.

Yeah. I did have a case on it but I always get tired of em and take it off lol. One of those days I wish I kept it on.

I used my wife's fine grade nail file on the corners and the marks pretty much smoothed out. The corners aren't as glossy as they were but it doesn't look like ass anymore lol. I am still thinking about doing the claim.

I usually try to hold out on making claims until they eol the phone I have and come out with something else. That way I can 'upgrade' to the newest model for 99 bucks instead of buying it out right lol.

i cover my phone with carbon fiber vinyl that i bought on ebay i think its 8 dollars to cover all the scratch and also make it look good but you have to cut it on your own 24"x24" R 3D Carbon Fiber Vinyl Film M Wrap Pontiac | eBay

it does add a bit of thickness to it,but being that i always have it in a carrying case on my side i dont really notice it.Still play games on it etc though

What is this $99 upgrade? I did check Metro's site but I didn't see anything. Do you have to kill your phone after they run out of replacements or something?
