Root [Sprint/Cricket] Sprint forum is lonely

new phone, not much support as of yet. the s2 is the same way on the sprint side of things. the evo lte is a much more popular forum, altho im not sure why... Im rather on the fence about which one to get and as far as the dev support goes, the evo is winning, but i just cant stand the idea of a static battery despite the "hold the power button for 10 seconds" workaround...

i exchanged my ltevo at best buy for the GS3, not just for the battery "issue" but because the phone was actually flexable due to the very thin aluminum rails at the kickstand.

The Evo line is pretty popular over here. The Galaxy S line is popular on XDA. /shrug

Sprint seems to advertise the Evo LTE a hell of a lot more than the GS3, which would get it more attention. Plus a lot of the OG Evo users probably used their upgrade to get the Evo LTE. So long as we get official cyanogen support, I'll be happy :)

True. I had the OG EVO 4G and I rooted and flashed the *explicit* out of that phone. It was the phone I've owned the longest. I never kept a phone longer than 5-6 months without changing, lol. Sad I know. But you are right. A majority of the OG EvO 4G users did upgrade to the LTEvo because it was in the EVO line. I was getting a little tired of Sense because it was resource heavy and was always a secret huge fan of Touchwiz because my best friend got the Epic 4G back when it first came out and it just looked nice.

I haven't been disappointed with my SG3 choice yet and according to Phonedog.com it is still the top phone on both the user choice and "expert" choice rankings. Those really don't mean anything but there seem to be a majority of people who prefer this phone over the countless others out there.
