Make sure to thank genovdot for the work, he put it together, and modded everything. All I did was make sure it was working correctly and tar it for odin.

Put phone in download mode and plug in to PC
Open odin, click PDA and select GASMOD.tar
Do not use PIT file
Make sure that RE-PARTITION IS NOT CHECKED!!!! (IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!)
Click START and wait for odin to complete and phone to re-boot

Sometimes after flashing new rom the phone can be very slow to start the first time, this is normal. Sometimes it will hang on first start, hold power button down and restart phone, this is normal for first start after flashing any new rom.

Hey you mind if I make a tutorial on how to install this, I'm trying to get more views to my YouTube channel and I will be sure to give all credit to everyone who made this and great job by the way

Oh and btw, u can use the pit file just be sure to uncheck re-partition. I suppose the ppl who have bricked there phones didn't load the pit first. Usually if u load that first you will notice that re-partition is checked and you will go about unchecking it. Just my two cents

No reason to load pit file (partition information table) if your not going to re-partition phone. All it does is check the box, then you uncheck it and the pit file isnt used anyway.
 
When i flash this and it reboots i get this message "com.process.android.google.myuploads stop working app need to force close" What does that mean and how do i fix it......plz help thanks

Mine has started doing the same thing, Im not exactly sure why yet and havent had time to check it out. If I figure out how to fix it I will post how.
 
just installed this rom today, and it gave that error as well... I also can't get the google play store to work and have done everything possible ie, cleared cache/data, uninstalled reinstalled, it keeps giving me an error occured and program must close... I also get a popup every so often saying something about license verification is invaid for google play store.

Okay, for the my uploads it looks like the original my uploads that was used had an upload waiting in que. Since it forces closed before you can clear cache you cant get it to quit. What I did was use titanium backup ro uninstall "my uploads" then installed this one. http://search.4shared.com/q/CCAD/1/my uploads apk

I will check it out too, just been busy didnt even get a chance to look into it before I made the tar.. Is there multiple charging icons for charge as well as discharge?
 
i have just installed gasmod and used the playstore fix above and it seems to work perfectly. wifi has even become more stable. battery icon is the only thing lacking, and not really a concern for me.

for those of you thinking about downloading, give it a shot. just read and follow all directions on this thread. i'm not a dev but i am really looking forward to more roms and mods.

Didn't commit anything to github, fairly cause I don't have the knowledge but ill make my own separate thread tomorrow with the changlog. It really nothing but a themed deodexed stock rom with build tweaks
