Root Did I brick it?

Need some suggestions here. I decided to get an app that would reboot quickly to save my power button. Downloaded on from the store and seemed to be fine. Got an app called Rebooter from smartux. It gave me several options, just selected the "reboot now" option. SuperSU Pro pop up came up asking to grant su and I did. Looked like it was going to reboot, but now it won't start at all. Did get to stock recovery, and have the little android with the exclamation.

If I do start from stock recovery, just get the screen with "Google" and a lock icon on the bottom and it looks like the screen is on (very dim) but never gets anywhere, if I boot to recovery mode it does nothing. If I reboot the boodloader, just get back into bootloader screen, like it should.

But now what? Do I need to start over? And how? Help! LOL

Rooted on 4.1.1 using SuperSu Pro and busybox

Did you try selecting start in the bootloader?

Yep, wouldn't do anything. Unfortunate I've had to go back to factory original OS and am now in the process of re-rooting and rebuilding everything :(

I suggest to everyone you don't use the reboot program I downloaded (above) on the Nexus 7.

I've used that app for years. It was my first root app. :D

You can add shortcuts for each thing you want to do. I have reboot, shutdown on every screen and recently started using recovery as well.

Sorry to hear about your trouble, but look at the experience you gained. :)

Try the Quickboot app. Works great for booting to recovery.

Kewl, thanks. Had others on my HTC phone (GB) with no issues, just trying the one above out. Guess it's not ready for Nexus 7 Prime time.

Will give this one a shot.
