I'm at the office right now. I can only remember that the router is a Belkin and the encryption isn't wep, it is the other one with a psk (something like that anyway). Can't remember any of the other stuff though. This router actually came with a disk and set everything up for me this time. It was actually pretty nice, but may be the source of my problems. The odd thing is that I have 3 laptops, 2 desktops and a netbook all connected with zero issues. I haven't even tried to connect my girlfriends phone.
 
Can anyone post a clean version of the file or at least host it somewhere else? I keep getting spyware and viruses trying to download themselves on my pc with that file.

How did you find the mlb at bat? I''ve been looking in the market place forever for it. Could you download it when you had 1.5 on the eris?

Shoot, the links in apps still dead is a deal killer for me. I've been waiting, and waiting and guess I have to wait some more :( Thanks for the posting your findings!

While I won't push anyone to update earlier than they want to, you should keep in mind that this may not be fixed in the official OTA either.

Also, when we say links in apps not working we are actually talking about some apps, not all. For me, Movies and Urbanspoon have link problems. The only thing I can figure is that there is something wrong with the way these apps communicate with the newer browser in 2.1.
 
I am a bit worried about no gmail pictures ....
BTW does the gmail app and the calendar sync works well as on 1.5?

For those who are using the new updated leak: Is it really "snappier" and are the improvements quantified, not just wishful thinking? I would think that just doing a flash and installing the same OS would clean up and make a phone run better at least initiallly. Deal breakers for me are the volume issue and phone dial lag. Has anyone with the new leak experienced these bugs from the original?
 
Where did this new file come from anyways? Someone is claiming it to possibly be the "official" 2.1?
