I'm at the office right now. I can only remember that the router is a Belkin and the encryption isn't wep, it is the other one with a psk (something like that anyway). Can't remember any of the other stuff though. This router actually came with a disk and set everything up for me this time. It was actually pretty nice, but may be the source of my problems. The odd thing is that I have 3 laptops, 2 desktops and a netbook all connected with zero issues. I haven't even tried to connect my girlfriends phone.

Is your router supporting both G and N wireless? I couldn't connect my phone to my wireless until I switched to G only. (I didn't try N only.)

I'm having an issue with the HTC FB application. I can't "Like" any posts. I get "200/Feed story publishing is disabled for this application"

Anybody else seeing this?

Yes, this is an issue with the Facebook app and not because of the updated Rom. The Facebook app is almost always a big bag of fail.

Mine doesn't do N. We had so much trouble with them when we tried to put them in the office that I didn't even mess with them at the house. Good old fashion G only for this girl.

umm...anyone try to root this version?
not actually root this one but try to run the root process with this version?
or even downgrade?..just curious :)

Someone reported that apps that use the internet are not working. Are those any apps that require an internet connection, or just ones that have links? For example, will weatherbug get data? I'm a little confused on this.

Tell you what, PM me with the information when you get home including the Belkin model number and firmware rev. (firmware...LOL) if you can/want to.

FWIW, depending on the settings, I am not surprised that the PCs and Laptops connect and the phone won't... Things like WPA2, hiding your SSID and Channel Selection definitely affect phones and IPOD Touches connecting.

Just apps with links. Apps that use data are fine. If you have an app that links out and opens up the browser then you run into a problem. Others have said that it works if you use a third party browser as the default though. I haven't tried it though.

Just the apps that have links to the internet....like Bank of America. If you go to the mobile BOFA webpage, you see the exact same thing as the app. Urbanspoons works fine until you cilck on like a link for the review or whatever, which would take you to the internet.

That is a sync button. It will sync your accounts.

That was my guess, but nothing stuck out obviously. Is it like an on/off switch, meaning if it's not On, will it not sync? Or is it a one-time deal and you use it like the Sync Now widget?

Thanks!

Weatherbug works fine, K-9 Mail works fine, Opera works fine, as well as everything else I've tried, beside the "Get More HTC Widgets", which still doesn't work for me.

Thanks. I will send you a PM tonight some time.

currently all my apps that use an internet connection work perfectly fine

don't know who told you that one

Could someone with the new leak please check the market and see if "At Bat '10" is available. This app is a deal breaker for me and one of the major reasons I am still running 1.5.

I have a Droid with 2.0.1 and I am unable to find At Bat '10 in the market.

EDIT: At Bat is in the market

FYI--I have a Belkin G+N router at home and my phone didn't even recognize the regular setup I had for my computer network. I went into the routers settings via browser and went to a "guest wireless" setup, like for hotel users, etc. and it sets up another completely different wireless profile that doesn't have access to your home computer network. That wifi profile is the one that my phone sees now and works great. Even flashing to new OS's doesn't seem to lose the wifi address info for all my hotspots.

Thats what you guys wanted, right? XP Better late than never?

Getting back into installing my apps. All of them were in my download list on the market :)

Completely agree -- networking defines fickle -- though I will note, I have a linksys N router in "mixed" mode (G & N), secured via WPA2 Personal & "auto" settings for channels, with 2 "n" laptops, my Eris, iPod Touch and another linksys router in "client" mode (for Xbox) with DD-WRT installed, all connected with no connection/performance issues. Stock linksys firmware running on the primary router too.

i got stuck on the black triangle with the last leak, i eventually took sd card out and took zip file off.. phone worked as usually then (1.5).. or take the card out, turn phone back on, insert card, then use astro file app to erase zip file..may give you an sd card error..but try again.. worked for me..:).. think my prob was incomplete file..worked like a charm with this leak tho..:D

Running the first leaked 2.1, so I've done this once before. BUT this time when I load the .zip on the root level of my sd card, then hold volume down and end keys, hboot cant find an image to use. I get the white screen with HBOOT highlighted in blue along with the volume up and send key options. When first getting to this screen, i get the green scrolling text that is searching for the image to use, but then just settles back to the HBOOT highlighted and nothing happens.
Any ideas?
