Voice over WiMax

I've searched for this for awhile, cant find anything. Does anyone know if the Evo supports voice/texting over WiMax? Also, how about data usage at the same time as a voice call. Data being on 3G (EVDO Rev A)? I'd try it myself but I dont want to waste minutes (limited minute plan).

I've used 4G while on a call but 3G doesn't work. I'm sure you could use Google Voice over WiMax but I haven't tried it.

WiMax (or "4G") is data only. You cannot send or receive calls and texts over WiMax unless you are using a VoIP setup (calls) or Google Voice (text.)

You can run data over WiMax while simultaneously making a call on the normal CDMA connection.

Basically, you can think of WiMax as similar to WiFi, but with a longer range.

If you are talking about voip calling, google voice texting, yeah, WiMax works. I use Obion, and it works (even on 3G).

I was referring to non VOIP cellular apps (dialer, messaging) working over 4G. I got my answer. I could have sworn I read somewhere awhile ago that Sprint was at least planning to start offering Voice Over WiMAX but maybe they never started it. Not sure. Does the Evo allos 3G talk and data. Not referring to 4G. I'm just talking about calling someone and browsing the web at the same time on the regular CDMA network.
