Root Is there a wifi hotspot app that works with this phone?

I have the broken out rom and even with the included wifi teather app I can not get it to broad cast the hotspot for my tablet to pick up on. Can someone tell me if they are using this rom and that app what settings they are using or if they are using a different app.

Thanks. Only time I really would use this is for navigation and emails.

On desktop tether use a client switcher set to android.

Google is your friend if you don't know what a client switcher is.

is there a way to switch the actual user agent on your computer and not browser so like programs that use internet will work?

I know you've been helped with this already but if you go into settings on the tether app you can change you're device profile and that should work also.
