Extra battery for triumph

I'm looking for an extra battery for my triumph cuz the battery doesnt last for crap. I'm wondering if those 3 for 10$ cheap overseas batteries are any good and are okay to use. I don't want to get some crap battery that's gonna melt or blow up in my phone lol. Also does anyone know if those cheapo batteries have temp sensors on them to prevent overcharging?

Those batteries suck but they are a decent bang for the buck. Most likely won't blow up your phone though. I've put them through the washer and gas dryer tons of time and punctured them by accident.

If you want a known good, get an Anker. A bit pricier but you know what you're getting. There may be diamonds in the rough with the cheaper ones but it's hard to say for sure unless you want to get a bunch of different ones and test. There's a good thread on XDA for HTC Sensation batteries where someone is testing tons of third party batteries for true capacity.

No, you most likely won't find any third party batteries with temperature sensors. The Mugens might have it, but I'm not certain. Definitely not worth the money though.

How long have you had your Triumph? Call Virgin Mobile. They should be able to send you a new one no questions asked, free shipping and all. If you really wanted to push it, they might even overnight it (although every time they claimed to overnight, it still came via 3 day or ground)

Kinda figured they were crap. Have you heard anything about Hyperion batteries? They are still fairly cheap (20$ for 2 with charger) and seem to have good reviews. And I'll definitely have to try virgin mobile hell a free stock battery sounds good to me.

Well I got the Max power from eBay and its been doing the job for me

The Anker is $12 shipped for one, or $20 shipped for two. Doesn't come with the charger, but you can get whatever cheap battery+charger combo off ebay or just a generic standalone charger. The Anker charger looks "nicer" than some of the other ones but it works the same.
