Root Flashing notification leds?

Ok this is one for the developers, I wouldn't mind the ability to have my notification led lights flash when I get a text or email. Stock the lights stay a solid color until the screen is awake again. Is it at all possible to make changes within the esteem to make this happen. Note light flow works to control the colors and such but does not make them blink on and off.

that would be custom rom/kernel work cause in go sms pro there's an option for flashing lights but it dont work.

Well if it's kernel work I think it's possible to be implemented into the stock Kernal... I could be wrong.

It's possible but might take some time to do, never know what might come around the corner. But that would be a little cool feature.

I kinda fell in love with the whole blinking led light deal when I say commercials for the htc ryme.. It is pretty neat.
