Got the blue now, and for me, it looks better, white is a bit too showy? A black case looks good, will order a clear case as I'd like to see the rear of the phone too.

Vote for White! C'mon blu looks and feels too much plastic..

Actually, its the exact opposite. The white is just a glossy white, while the blue has a brushed aluminum look on both the front and back. From a visual standpoint, im not sure how one could determine that the white looks less plasticky.

But i guess its all subjective. I think both look good. But prefer blue.

look up ghost armor, they do sick carbon fiber covers and great screen protectors. They have kiosks in most malls and it only costs about $40 with a warranty.

Hello all,

I am about to purchase an SIII on Sprint. I did all the homework on the phone and decided all the specs and functionality is what I need for business and just general everyday use (the EVO 4G LTE did come in a close second so hard choice).

The only issue is which color to chose. Anybody have a preference? Unfortunatly it doesn't come in black so it's either blue or white. Kind like both so it's hard to decide.

Any help would be appreciated.:)

Female : White
Male : Blue
Shemale : White phone & purchase a Blue back

LOL Treb!

Female - blue. After a while the blue just disappears, you won't notice the color near as much as you will with a white.

I guess I was a shemale over the weekend. I have a white and and my buddy has the blue. I put the blue back on for sheets and giggles.

I prefer the white over blue but it's all personal preference.

White looks more expensive due to its association with Iphones, however I have it in a matching white silicone gel case which gathers muck like nobodies business. If you wait a bit longer you can get the red version?

The Red is only going to AT&T ( for now ). OP is on Sprint.

Go to the store and look at it for yourself. The Pebble Blue is a very polarizing color. Some people love it, some people hate it, and some people grow to hate it. I initially got the blue due to availability (white was impossible to find at launch. Blue was everywhere) and because I've had black phones for a long time. Over time, the purplish color of the Pebble Blue really bothered me. Especially the home button. The home button on the blue varies from close to matching to way off depending on lighting. The blue on the rest of the phone also varies from a nice gunmetal blue, to a dark blue, to very purple depending on lighting. Some people like that and some don't. I didn't, so I returned it for a white one and haven't looked back since. The phone looks great in either color. It just comes down to personal preference.

Also keep in mind the color of the front is really the only important part if you plan to use a case. Even the color of the back doesn't matter much because there are so many replacement backs can purchase for very cheap (under $10).

Wife has white I have blue. The LED lights on the white one bleed through the white face immediately surrounding the LEDs because the lighter coating doesn't completely mask off the lights (Notification LED, Capacitive button LEDs) making the illumination appear "fuzzy". Here are the blue and white GS3 side by side, the white one is on the right(top?). The capacitive buttons on the white one on the right have that fuzzy illumination effect. Sorry, the phones are fully charged, or I would've been able to capture the red charging LED as well. But the notification LED also has this effect on the white phone.

Damn. Never thought of that. That'd piss me off.

Could you retake that pic & make it brighter as it would be very benefical for folks trying to decide.

Make what brighter? The background lighting? I had a hard time capturing the image, as I had to set the touchscreen buttons to always on, and the camera can't really capture what the human eye will clearly see, as it is difficult to focus on something like a phone display in dim lighting.

Even though the image is a little out of focus, it can be clearly seen that the one on top has a "bloom" of light glowing around the symbols for the touch buttons.
