There asking me for my phone number and my security pin, so they can look into my problem with their higher department. Are they trusted service or no?

Yes, that email belongs to Virgin Mobile USA's social media troubleshooting team. They're also the ones who run and answer questions on the Facebook page. In my experiences, they help a lot more than the phone representatives.

I've given them my pin. Although I am still paranoid.

And the most important why I give them my pin, they don't have my credit card info on file.

this is so they can look to see if there is anything whacky going on with your service, or send a replacement phone to you...

they have to have your virgin mobile account pin in order to pull up your account and troubleshoot your issues.

That e-mail address is trusted; however, do you know for certain VM sent that e-mail? The e-mail address listed in the "From:" field does not mean that is where it is actually from (it can be forged) or where the replies go to.

Your best bet would be to create a new e-mail and type the legitimate address in the "To:" block to send them the required information. (Ideally, you should call instead but that might not be feasible.)
