Help How do you "safely remove" the S3 once you plugged it to the comp through USB?

On windows you go to task bar an click "safely remove hardware"

I've never seen it appear under this option though, like a USB thumb drive does.
To the OP, I always check the "Remove devices" option, but then, if the SG3 doesn't appear, and it never does, I just unplug it.

You can just unplug it whenever the USB transferring animation is not shown on the device screen. You can't "safely remove" it because it isn't a Mass Storage device when connected to the PC.

I asked Verizon the same question because I never saw the remove device safely option in the tray. He said that as long as that icon isn't present, it safe to just unplug the USB cable. Something to do with how Samsung configured it.

my LG lucid says it needs to be but my phone isn't awesome though

Doesn't sound very "safe" to me!
I was just wondering when you said "as long as the icon isn't present" do you mean the icon on the computer which you are able to safely remove the software? or the usb symbol on the phone.

Depending on if your Left or Right handed. Slightly grab the cord by the male end of the USB cord then give it a tug towards yourself. Remember to do this after all transfers have been made from PC to phone or phone to PC. After you complete this, look up to the phone Gods and say thank u!
