I'm mad that the Incredible didn't come out, but I'm disgusted that there still isn't a snapdragon phone out. Seriously, Nexus one has been out for about 4 months, and we still don't have it. AT&T wasn't even announced as a carrier, and we still don't have it. This experience may have soured me on Verizon for good.

I'm trying to stay positive, but how many kicks in the nads can one man take. I have a nice Teste puree going on down there right now.
Has it been out for that long now??? wow...........now the Nexus One Two will come by anytime soon. I give it like a year till the next one comes out.

Android central just tweeted that Verizon couldn't tell them about the nexus one.
I replied asking if it was a permission thing or a knowledge thing. If they're not allowed to discuss N1 maybe they're on lockdown about something else.

AT&T still isn't really a carrier for the N1 as you have to buy it at full price.

I guess, but it's more of the point that AT&T got the specialized (customized to work with their 3G) version of the phone before we did out of nowhere, and Verizon is just sitting there acting like nothing happened.

Edit: I feel like it's christmas, and we're getting to watch everyone else open presents. One by one they're being handed out. I'm waiting to hear my name, but the pile is dwindling, and all I got so far was a stupid pair of socks.

They did, but the original worked on all their frequencies but 3G so its not like its a total shock that the second one swapped out the 3g freq's. That must have been easier then getting a CDMA radio in it.

let's all agree on one thing here... CTIA is one of the most boring, awful events we've ever seen.

Nothing, I mean nothing came out of it.

- Skype = who the eff cares.
- HTC EVO - amazing phone, TERRIBLE carrier, nobody will buy it since nobody uses Sprint, plus it won't be out for 3 months. WIMAX, oh good, hopefully you live in 1 of the like, 3 states it works in.
- LTE - who cares, we really all just want a cool smartphone

Honestly, what else was there? Nothing...what a complete waste of time and money.

Lastly, Verizon just continues to let us down, time and time again. As one, if not the BEST network out there, why not invest some time and money into coming out with the BEST hardware and actually becoming the king of all wireless carriers?

Sad too, because I don't have any phones on my account ready for an upgrade, I was easily willing to drop $600 retail on the damn Incredible (which will probably end up with a god awful name and be released in 2-3 months when nobody cares).

blah, meh, ugh. I'm just very disappointed.

I think all of us should tweet on Verizon's Twitter account saying how disappointed we are with them, give us some real hardware for ONCE, seriously... ONCE.

Unless you're a Sprint customer.....then it was awesome.

We all should of never of tried to learn about this phone so quick... We should of just minded our own business.. NOw it's making us all crazy because it's not announced yet..

Just dropping by on my break and wanted to thank everyone who dug up info out of that ROM ... you made my day with that! It's more evidence IMHO of what we've heard from our testers and insiders.

They're reply "Yes".

we should keep in mind that we may not care much atm about it but a lot of VZW's money and focus is on the LTE build out... it may just be slowing down the new handset release...

Big company like that has to have separate departments for development and sales/releases...

While that seems like a logical explanation, I've been with Verizon for over 8 years and this is pretty much par for the course when it comes to them releasing a new phone on their network.
