Pls make a flashable zip i always wanted 5bar network icons :o

Sorry to disappoint u guys but only Aayush will provide updates, OTA updates...
I can release this only after his permission, he already got those icons from me so u can expect that he will be working on it ok...so be patient...I just uploaded the screenshot for his reference to choose between different icons...

Actually bro's, on the Indonesian forums... people were complaining about the mild visibility of network signal. So I added a broad thing....

Well no doubt, this will be in my next OTA Package. But for 5 bar network, I think I require help as well as you guys have to wait for 2.0 OTA.

In series 1, it would be just 4 bar...

Bro, how come the WhatsApp is there? I bet I removed the downloader for it! Have you downloaded it personally??

Ya might be mastermind1024 have downloaded it personally even i too have the apk with me for it and its also included in that RAR archive so if any how you could open it you will get all the apks.

@shahabazas to get 184mb internal memory first u got to flash the rom from a cwm in a normal way
then u have to backup the rom via cwm
now u will get system.img in clockworkmod folder
copy that to ur pc

then extract the gionee rom package

replace system.img
and scatter file
then click on download
u will get 184mb internal memory with rom
if u use gionee rom u will get 221mb internal memory

dont try to install cwm after doing all these stuff

How did you do this.... I am not able to get the extn memory. I have created extn2 through link2sd but the memory is not getting added.

look buddy memory will not get add in the internal memory of the system but yes whatever you download from google play will be linked to the ext2 partition by link2sd.!

take a look at this..

so this means we can't have CWM recovery after this process ?? and if we need and do flash then we will brick our device??

Simply saying, the Gionee Scatter just has got a partition bug which allows and accounts for more memory. But, le me tell you a secret thing. I personally tested this method with Blue Terror, and somehow 1st thing you lose your CWM Recovery. Secondly, I've seen a big CPU usage SPIKE! with use of this Gionee Scatter. It had a drastic impact on battery life, about 1.2 hours were reduced.

In order to write a block at a partition other than what the cellphone was built for is "SOMEHOW" causing this. With Micromax Scatter that SPIKE is gone! I'm still looking into the matter. And that's why I removed the method from my Flashing Instructions.

I love varun's recovery till date, and ain't gonna lose it that easy. It was my first CWM in my A75 afterall... :)

no aayush actually gionee rom has two os I saw that
my friend has some original gionee android mobile
it has 2 os
one is android
another is proprietary os that can be found in cheap chinese mobiles
if u switch to that os
the battery life is about 10x better than android os
I think free space is bcoz of lack of that proprietary os

even gionee scatter only gives 150mb free space
that mito scatter only gives 200+mb free space

@aayush can u find how to get back that proprietary os on our a75
it will be awesome for outdoor uses

Nope, you didn't get me. I told my observations and encounters with the Blue Terror while using Gionee Scatter. Was not telling about any other ROM's.

The most simple way is to include a Link2SD. Nothing work's more perfect than the traditional ways to increase memory space. I am now looking forward for the data2ext...

and aayush what about that crt animation??
i mean gingerbread supports it so why mmx a75 lags during the animation ??
there should be something which is preventing the crt animation..
coz on normal samsung and sony xperia device as soon as they tick "show all animations" in display they automatically get that crt animation.!!
i mean why can't we get it??

Bro, this Stock ROM is actually NOT Gingerbread at all. It's a Chinese ROM...
It has actually been made to look like Gingerbread. This ROM was first compiled from sources on the Google Gingerbread Server and then, it was made compatible to handle 2 SIM cards.

So in that mess, many of the most beautiful features of Gingerbread ROM's got deleted. I am looking forward on compiling another Gingerbread build from Sources for A75. But the problem is, I would be able to make only 1 SIM work on it.

So I would just keep that ROM to myself as I don't need 2 SIM's... Then I can enjoy almost any feature which Gingerbread supports.

And yes, some of the CRT ON animation lag is because of MTK6573 Chip being present, and also the NON-Presence of a Dedicated Graphics Processor.

Replacing Network Icons from Galaxy Nexus CM9 Jelly Bean Look-Alike ROM...
Will that do? I'll post the screenshot beforehand... :)

Man mtk6573 DOES Have a dedicated GPU which is Powervr-SGX-531 ....

Which comparatively has a handling capacity, and equivalence of Power 0! MTK6573 includes a core for the GPU capabilities which you call Powervr-SGX-531, it does NOT have a DEDICATED GPU like the Dual-Mali 400 in Samsung or even Micromax Funbook.

Motorola Defy Too has that GPU but It can handle those animations .........I think it is more dependent on The ROM Itself ....
