I never realized until earlier this week that Sprint roams on Verizon towers for no charge. Why SHOULDN'T I go from VZW to Sprint? Their plans seem to be cheaper per month by a goodly amount. Is it just that their phones aren't as heavily subsidized? Sprint has 4G coverage in my area too (of course that won't due me any good until Summer it sounds like).

Man, I'd be really tempted to jump ship if that were the case, but I still harbor deep resentment towards Sprint for how I was treated as a customer by them years ago.

I was with Sprint for a few years between the times I was with Verizon before and currently and Sprint CS has improved dramatically. I had a horrible experience with VZW CS (hence why I left the first time) but it didn't sour me forever. You will get good and bad CS with every carrier. The trick is to always look for the good service people and you will have better experiences.

This is just the first iteration of the Skype/VZW partnership. The voice network is being used for quality reasons.
 
So I know it's only like 9 in montana right now, but I wonder when the HTC rep is stopping by. MM, any idea when we might hear some news about the infamous box?

N chipsets usually sip power when compared to the older chipsets. That is the real bonus for a phone..
 
do we know if Verizon or Htc is gonna be on stage today or have any kind of press conference today the last day of CTIA?
 
I've got a quick question. I just caved and bought a Eris. (Because I lost my phone in South Padre this past weekend and in an attempt to tide me over bought a POS Motorola Q off of Craigslist, bad idea.)

Now I was planning on returning it within the 30 days and paying a restocking fee, hopefully exchanging it for an Incredible! However, the guy behind the counter sliced off the UPC for me to send in with the rebate before I knew what was happening.

Am I in danger of being able to return it?

You'll just have to pay the amount of the rebate in addition to the restocking fee, normally $135 all together. But you'll be able to collect a 2nd rebate on the next phone so you'll break even in the end.
